The “Calithon” a Huge Success!

On Saturday, July 11th, the Califon Recreation Committee sponsored their first “Calithon” on the Columbia Trail.  This event was a family bike race which included children ages 6 to 14 accompanied by a parent or adult friend.  The biking duos competed in a 3 mile race from the train station in Califon to Hoffman’s Crossing Road and back again.  The beautiful weather, great sportsmanship, and pure fun had by all, made the “Calithon” a huge success!
