Anti Hate Resolution

On December 4th Califon Borough Town Council joined Flemington Borough Town Council when it passed an Anti-Hate resolution in response to events that have occurred around our country and in Hunterdon County.

For those who call Califon home, we always hope that our community is a warm Inviting place for our residents and visitors alike. To that end, standing in unity against hate and behaviors that exhibit hate reinforces that message. Passing the resolution was the first step forward in joining a county-wide effort to bring awareness and education regarding these Issues to our community.

One way to do this is by forming a small group of residents who would like to work together with organizations in our county in order to more effectively carry out this resolution. In order to fully embrace the resolution this group would partner with other groups in our county to become more educated about issues of hate, to form relationships with communities who have been targets of hate, and to bring the fruits of those efforts back to our community here in Califon.
