Califon Borough Seeking Part-Time Tax Assessor

The Borough of Califon is seeking a Part-Time Tax Assessor to perform all of the statutory duties of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-146 et seq. and pertinent regulations. Prior experience as a Municipal Tax Assessor is required. Candidates must possess valid NJ Tax Assessor Certificate and valid driver’s license. Applicant must be responsive via email within 24 hours on weekdays during non-scheduled working hours.  Successful candidates will have excellent communication, organization, computer and customer service skills, be self-motivated and able to multitask effectively.
