Califon Spring Trout Fest

Join your neighbors at the Califon Spring Trout Fest, sponsored by CAMPA (Califon Area Merchants and Professional Association) and Shannon’s Fly & Tackle. The Trout Fest takes place in downtown Califon, on May 6, 2017, between Califon Island Park and Califon Dam. Enjoy a day of interactive fly fishing demonstrations by representatives of major fly fishing companies like Scott Fly Rods, Gloomis Rods, Douglas Outdoors and Rio/ Redington

The Kids Fishing Derby starts at 8:30 AM and runs to Noon. Be sure to register your child on the day of the event, to win prize awards in the derby. Registration is FREE. Stocking donations are gladly accepted.

A Craft Fair will be held, from 10 AM to 4:00 PM during the fishing events and demonstrations, at Califon Island Park.  There will be live Music!  

The Adult One-Fly Competition is from 1 PM to 3:30 PM. Tie your own fly at the fair and use it in the competition. There will be fly tying demonstrations by Trout Unlimited
