Califon’s Scouting America Troop 192

Califon Residents,

The local Califon-based Scouting America Troop 192 (formerly Boy Scouts of America) has a long history of developing Califon youth through the scouting program.  Chartered through the Lower Valley Presbyterian Church, Troop 192 has produced many Eagle Scouts. 

After many years of service, Troop 192’s Scoutmasters Jessica and Harry Firko will step down at the end of 2024, with the balance of adult leaders and scouts aging out of the program. As a result, the Troop needs new leadership to continue in Califon beyond 2024.
