A Little Bit About Dog Licensing Please note that all municipalities in the state of new jersey are required to have their resident’s dogs licensed. The reasoning behind this is to try and make sure that all dogs receive their rabies vaccinations as you cannot get a license unless your dog has an up-to-date rabies
