The State of New Jersey has adopted new regulations in the Uniform Fire Code which took effect April 15, 2024. The second code change will take place October 15, 2024 when we replace the 2015 International Fire Code (New Jersey Edition) with the 2018 International Fire Code (New Jersey Edition). The third code change is April 15, 2025. In an effort to educate the public on the code changes, we are asking that you link our fire prevention website to your fire prevention tab. This would eliminate the need to continue to update your fire prevention page as the code sections, forms and registrations change. We will be rolling out our new fire prevention page later this week.
