Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Community Notification System.
Our Community Alerts Notification System enables Hunterdon County to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons, evacuation of buildings or neighborhoods, etc.
You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify: such as your home, cell, or business phone, email, text messages, hearing impaired receiving devices, and more.
You pick where, you pick how.
Please note: If your do not have a publicly listed phone number we will not be able to reach you.

If you do not register – we cannot contact you.
If you do not want to register online, you may email Community Alerts.
Please provide us with you name, address, and a cell phone, home phone, or business phone number where we can call or text you when an incident occurs.
You may also register by calling the Hunterdon helpline at 908-782-4357.
Please note: If you removed your account or asked us to remove it for you recently, you will not receive any notifications from the county. This includes notifications of any future severe weather or other emergency events that may occur in the County or your immediate area of residence such as law enforcement incidents, hazardous materials incidents, missing persons notifications, etc. If you are unsure if you are in the notification data base, please email us or register again online.
