The Flemington Area Food Pantry’s main fundraiser is coming up this month on Friday, October 25th at the Pantry from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.  The $30 tickets are available now at https://flemingtonfoodpantry.org. 

This year’s delicious soups will be supplied by local restaurants and kitchens and lunch will include a tasty restaurant soup, your choice of a small sandwich or salad, a dessert and a water along with a handcrafted bowl to remind us of our neighbors who are food insecure.

Purchase your ticket online beforehand, then just drive up to the Food Pantry, located across the parking lot from the Flemington WalMart, and your luscious lunch and unique bowl will be delivered right to your car.  A pottery sale will also be taking place in the Walmart parking lot.  Delivery can be arranged for larger orders by calling 908-788-5568.

“The Empty Bowl” is an annual drive-up lunch event which raises funds to provide food and personal care items to approximately 1,600 income-qualified Hunterdon County families who are food insecure.  More than 80% of the Pantry’s income is derived from contributions of monetary donations and groceries.
