Join us on Saturday, April 12th, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM for the 3rd Annual Trout Fest 2025 at Califon Island Park! If rain forces us to reschedule, we’ll celebrate all things spring and fly fishing on Sunday, April 13th. Enjoy live music, a beer garden, food trucks, and quality local artisans.
The festival offers fun for the whole family, including a kids’ fishing derby, fly casting instruction, a Colonial Angler demonstration, and casting competitions. Fly-tying demonstrations will also be ongoing throughout the day.
Entrance to the festival is free, so come spend the afternoon celebrating Califon and its rich fly fishing history with your family!
The festival is hosted by Califon residents and Navy veterans Abraham and Lindsey Beates, owners of South Branch Outfitters on Main Street (formerly Shannon’s Fly Shop).
