Troutfest is Coming

Califon Recreation is partnering with CAMPA (Califon Area Merchants and Professionals Association) and Shannon’s Fly and Tackle to present the Second Annual Califon Troutfest  on May 5th. The Rain date is May 6th. 

The fishing area is from Califon Island Park downstream through Califon Pond on River Road. The Kids Trout Derby starts at 8:00 AM and continues until Noon. Shannon’s One Fly Contest starts at 1:00 PM and continues until 4:00 PM.

Coffee and donuts will be available at Califon Island Park, and delicious food is available at the local restaurants. Individuals at the registration center will direct you to the restaurant serving your favorite type of food.
